Mecha Warehouse Presents: Grunt Destruction

Mecha Warehouse is excited to announce our next build-off and photo contest themed "Grunt Destruction". We want to see your battle hardened (or softened) grunt suits!

Rules:
   • An entry will constitute an individual picture of a build or diorama featuring a battle damaged grunt suit.
   • For the purposes of this contest, battle damaged shall mean the kit shall be modified to include one or more of:
      ○ Missing or mangled limbs
      ○ Bullet or beam weapon holes
      ○ Melted/scarified armor
      ○ Gashes/dings and dent's
   • For the purposes of this contest, grunt suit shall mean any mobile suit that adheres to the following criteria:
      ○ Shall be massed produced OR deployed in multiples without unique modifications.
      ○ Shall not be a unique variant of it's mobile suit model.
      ○ Shall not be a prototype variant.
      ○ Shall not be a mobile suit specifically piloted by the protagonist or antagonist of any series, manga, etc.
   • Additional mobile suits are allowed in the entry so long as the battle damaged grunt is the focus of the entry.
   • Mobile suits can be of any scale (SD, 1/144, 1/100, 1/60, 1/48).
   • You may modify or paint any way you see fit in accordance with the theme.
   • Entries must be a new build specific for this competition.
   • Photos must be unmodified (i.e. no photoshop, filters, etc)
Judging:
   • Mecha Warehouse will appoint a judging team.
   • Entries will be seeded into a bracket by the judging team.
   • Winners of each bracket match will be determined via popular vote by the judging team
   • An additional Discord Choice prize will be awarded based on a vote by the Mecha Warehouse Discord Community between nominees selected by Mecha Warehouse owner, Nick Savery.
Prizes:
   • 1st Place: $300 Gift Card to Mecha Warehouse + MG Kyrios
   • 2nd Place: $150 Gift Card to Mecha Warehouse + MG Barbatos
   • 3rd Place: $50 Gift Card to Mecha Warehouse + HG Tertium
   • Discord Choice: PBANDAI HG Leo Full Weapon Set selected by vote of our Mecha Warehouse Discord Community
   • Thank You to Bluefin for providing the MG Kyrios, MG Barbatos, HG Teritum and PBANDAI HG Leo Full Weapon Set
   • Note: International Entries are allowed, but Mecha Warehouse only currently ships within the US.

   • Submissions can be made by using the form located below.
   • Submissions deadline is August 1st, 2020.
Miscellaneous:
   • Mecha Warehouse reserves the right to modify these rules at any time.
   • By submitting your photo you are giving Mecha Warehouse permission to use your photo in future marketing and social media posts. (credit of course will be given)
   • No purchase necessary.
