The "Millennium Falcon" that appeared in the memorable first film "Star Wars: A New Hope" released in 1977 is now
available in Bandai's highest-end plastic model brand "PERFECT GRADE" series, which embodies the ultimate form.
　
With the theme of "perfect reproduction," the "1.7m filming model" was thoroughly researched, and not only the exterior shape but
also the inside of the cockpit and laser cannon were faithfully reproduced without any compromise.　
　　　　
　
● Obsession with Accurately Recreating the Millennium Falcon from the Movie -　
　　　　Through two on-site visits and the full cooperation of model researchers Sumi and Takahashi,
　　　　the "1.7m model for filming" was thoroughly researched. The model for
　
　　　　 filming is thoroughly reproduced in a large size of 1/72 scale and 482mm in total length, reproducing all the information of the model for filming.
　　　　
　　
● Reproducing the Finest Details -
　　　　　Not only the exterior, but also the internal detailed structure is thoroughly crafted.
　　　　　
　　　　　- The shape is reproduced from the cockpit
　　　　　　seat and the console panel to the instruments on the wall.
　　　　　　By assembling it, you can deepen your understanding of the structure of piloting the "Millennium Falcon".
　
　　　　　- The laser cannon
　　　　　　gunner's seat and laser cannon trigger are built inside.
　　　　　　On top of that, a precisely reproduced 4-barreled laser cannon is placed on top.
　　　　　　You can also experience the sense of distance between the gunner and the laser cannon during battle.

　　　　　　Not only the structure inside the wall hole, but also the various structures on the side of the cylindrical hole are reproduced without any omissions.

　　　　　　The dense parts of the side details are effectively divided into parts to pursue a three-dimensional expression.
　　　　　　The pipes that run in all directions are also used in combination with independent parts to achieve a shape closer to the model used for filming.

　　　　　　The very intricate center part was also accurately determined through research and investigation of the "1.7m model used for filming".

　　　　　　The characteristic dense details on the top of the Millennium Falcon are reproduced in detail.
　　　　　　The mesh part of the duct can be selected from plastic parts and etching parts to pursue a more detailed reproduction.
　
　
● Light-up gimmick - LED Light-Up Feature -
　　　　　　A lighting effect that complements the impression in the movie.
　　　　　　Its appearance illuminated by the light gives the illusion that it is about to take off.
　
　　　　　・Sub-high-speed engine
　　　　　The PG 1/72 Millennium Falcon is reproduced with white LEDs in respect to the first movie.
　　　　　　The characteristic belt-shaped engine section uses light-guiding parts to reproduce the light emission in the movie.
　
　　　　　・Landing gear/entrance hatch
　　　　　　The characteristic three legs are illuminated by LEDs, supporting the aircraft with the same strength as in the movie.
　　　　　　This part lights up to reproduce the parked state.
　　
　　　　　　The entrance hatch has a detailed mold carved into it,
　　　　　　creating an atmosphere that Han Solo might climb out of it at any moment.
　
　　　　　・Cockpit
　　　　　　The distinctive rear panel lights up just like the cockpit in the movie, evoking a scene from the movie.
