Loved it especially the detail
As the name implies, this is a great starter kit for new builders. It includes the Classic Gundam RX-78-2, A pictorial guide for building, and detailing your kit, a gundam panel lining marker, and some accessories not found in other RX-78-2 kits.
As for the kit itself, the Gundam is a quick and easy to assemble build. Giving you all the great classic looks without a lot of the hassle of higher end kits. The tradeoff in the ease of this build is a lack of some of the more complex engineering you find on the newer versions, even the Revive. Articulation and posing is not this kit's strong point, although it is more than acceptable, You can't quite get it into a last shooting pose. It's beam rifle and hyper bazooka are also somewhat simplified compared to the revive, but not enough to make them seem overly cheap.
What this kit does have, and in spades. is the Gundam Hammer. A real metal chain to attach the spiked ball to the handle is all you really need to look your best while bashing baddies. It is the highlight of the kit and really, all you need to know about it. ;)
TL:DR, It's simple kit with a lot of accessories and goodies, the perfect entry point for someone at the level of using tools to nip the kit off the runner.
Perfect kit for learning and awesome rx-78. Will buy another kit.
I got this for my 7 year old girl for her first non sd build super easy best gunpla to start with even comes with panel line pen.
