Description

This is a special reinforcing tape to recover the looseness of joints and moving parts of the mechanical model.

In order to reinforce a loose joint until now, it was necessary to adjust it by sharpening with an adhesive and then adjusting it by scraping or re-placing it, or by sticking it to the joint while cutting out a small tape by yourself.

This joint guard has been developed so that even these loose joint parts can be easily maintained for a long time.

Reinforcing tape has been cut into strips in six sizes to suit various shafts. In addition, it is a soft special tape with a non-slip coating on the surface, so it can reinforce the joints without applying excessive tension to the parts.

In particular, the joint parts made of PS, which are often found in the latest kits, are easy to loosen, making them ideal for such joints and movable parts.

In addition, a total of 1,054 reinforcing tapes are listed, so a single sheet can be used for several dozen mechanical models.

Contents: 1 sheet Joint Guard reinforcement tape (1,054pieces)

Size: about 105:175mm

Tape Color: Light Gray

Material: Polypropylene (tape surface non-slip coating)

■ How to use

1. Select and paste a joint guard with a size that covers about 2/3 of the loose parts.

2. Use one to three sheets according to the degree of looseness if necessary.

3. When holding heavy parts, attach a small amount of instantaneous adhesive to the side of the tape and dry it.

Important point

1. Be sure to remove the grease and dust from the surface before applying.

2. All parts are ready to operate immediately after the JOINT GUARD is attached. However, for ball joints supporting heavy parts, it is recommended to start after 24 hours after applying a small amount of super glue.

Totally worth it.

The amount of stickers that you get for the price is worth it. And definitely helps with the flimsy joints like on a Barbatos. I gotta get another pack

Be gone loose

Works great for my MG RGM GM79SP Sniper that I recently built. The legs kept popping out of the GM which frustrated me. If the tape rips it won't hold the tension as well. I'll be using this to fix the problems with my other gunplas.

No-fuss way to tighten joints

I was a bit skeptical on this product. While not expensive even at full price, I wasn't sure it would be worth it. But I had some joints that were loose enough that my typical methods weren't cutting it so I gave it a shot.
Happily, the stuff actually is worth grabbing a sheet and using it as needed. You won't need more than a couple pieces for any given joint. And there are a LOT of pieces on the sheet. It is not immediately apparent, but the material is not just typical paper tape. It seems well chosen / designed for its job as it is durable in the joint even after manipulation and adds a considerable grippiness to all the joints I've used it in.

- Short version: Give it a try. It's a cheap, no-fuss, and effective way to deal with loose joints.

It works

Was worried about this product, it sounds too good to be true but I used on my war graymon (Horrible joints).
Went from not being able to stand to actually being able to stand on its own, in other words it works well..... Don't know for how long but so far so good
