I love this paint line. I still thin them out of habit but I've found they don't really need it. Their variety of colors are great and they stack up very well to Tamiya.
I find the Vallejo Mecha primer works well with all brand so if paint so far. The flow improver helps to keep the acrylics from clogging at the nozzle, it works well with Mech Kline and I use it with model master also
I came back to building Gundam models (we didn't call it Gunpla back then) after close to 20 years away. When I was a kid, I had been hand-painting with Tamiya acrylics, and it wasn't a good time. Then someone suggested these paints to me.
I'll let people that airbrush tell you about how well they work in that venue, but I can attest that they're great for hand painting. They go on smoothly, clean up easily and dry with a nice satin finish. It's also great that they have a lot of colors that are perfect matches for the Mr. Hobby Gundam colors.
My only complaint about this line is that the gold, copper, and brass metallic paints look flaky when they dry.
Love using this brand of paint, needs very little thinning doesn't chip so easily, great for my gunpla. Will definitely be purchasing more of them. As for mecha Warehouse, great service and speedy delivery. Package came quick and paints were packed with care. Love shopping from mecha Warehouse. Definitely will continue to do business with them
Great product will definitely be getting more when needed
